Q: How do I get airplay on Harris Radio?

Q: Can I ask you to check out music on my MySpace page or website?

A: Ask away, but I probably won't have time to.  Actually, please don't ask.  The best way to get on Harris Radio is to follow the directions on the Submissions page.

Q: Do you make money from Harris Radio?

A: The only money I make is as a sales agent for CD Baby and MusicSubmit.  Click on a link to CD Baby from this site and I get $1 for every CD you buy.  I love CD Baby!

Q: What about the adverts in the audio stream?

A: All that money goes to the radio stream hoster, Live365.  So does any money from VIP memberships to Live365. which you can purchase to limit the audio ads.

Q: What about royalties to artists?

A: What about them?

Q: Do you pay them?

A: Live365 pays mechanical and performance royalties via ASCAP, BMI, Sesac and SoundExchange.

Q: What else does Harris Radio do?

A: It publishes Indie Sounds NY and operates GigApple.com.  These are both potentially 'for profit' ventures, though currently they are in the 'pre-revenue' stage.
